Windom School Memorial Foundation

Led by Windom mayor, Frank Howell, The Windom School Memorial Foundation was established in 1987 with the mission to create and support educational opportunities for an underserved area while maintaining our historic school building as a resource to the community.

Built in 1924, our grande dame is now over a hundred years old and thanks to our alumni and other supporters, still going strong.

She serves as a vibrant community center for the town of Windom, houses the Windom Art School, and is available as a meeting space for area groups and associations. The beloved building at the heart of the Windom community proudly continues as a valuable cultural, educational, and arts facility for the greater Fannin County and Northeast Texas area.
