Windom School Memorial Foundation

Led by Windom mayor, Frank Howell, The Windom School Memorial Foundation was established in 1987 with the mission to create and support educational opportunities for an underserved community while maintaining our historic school building as a resource in those endeavors.

Built in 1924, our grande dame is now over a hundred years old and thanks to our alumni and other supporters, still going strong.

Today she serves as a vibrant community center for the town of Windom as well as a cultural, educational, and arts facility for the greater Fannin County and Northeast Texas area.
